メルヘンでファンタジックな世界を描いた自然素材のアートです
An art form created with natural materials, depicting a fairy-tale and fantastical world inspired by the unique character of plants.
自然をテーマに、植物や自然素材を用いてメルヘン＆ファンタジーの世界を描く「メルファンタジーコラージュ」。
乾燥させた植物や木の実、砂や石、天然繊維、ガラスの光など、自然を感じるさまざまな素材を組み合わせて、森の生き物や擬人化された植物たちのファンタジックな世界を表現しています。
草木や石、空や雲など、自然の色や形は実に多様で、よく見ると何かに見えるユニークな形や模様があります。虫食いのような穴にも、自然の愉しさや美しさを感じます。
雨や太陽、風を受けて刻まれた小さな時間の痕跡、欠けた石や削れた砂など、あちらこちらに“地球の時間”が息づいています。
長い時をかけて大地が生み出した色や輝き、草花が得た独特な姿や素朴なぬくもりを楽しみながら、自然と共生する心地よいひとときを伝えていきたいと思っています。
コラージュ作品のほか、草花が織りなす生き物を描いたイラストや、物語や自然を添えたアクセサリーなどを通して、メルファンタジーの世界をお届けしています。
見るたびに楽しく、心豊かになれるような創作を心がけています。
Mär:Fantasy Collage
A series of works inspired by nature, created with plants and natural materials to depict a world of fairy tales and fantasy.
Using dried flowers and leaves, seeds, sand, stones, natural fibers, and the shimmering light of glass, I create fantastical scenes filled with forest creatures and personified plants.
Colors and shapes found in nature—trees, stones, skies, and clouds—are endlessly diverse. When observed closely, they reveal unique forms and patterns that seem to resemble something familiar.
Even the holes left by insects or the traces of time etched by rain, sun, and wind evoke a quiet beauty—small marks of “earth time.”
The hues and glimmers formed by the earth over long ages, and the warmth and individuality of each plant, inspire me to share the gentle joy of living in harmony with nature.
Alongside my collage works (mixed media), I also create illustrations of plant-born creatures and accessories accompanied by small stories of nature.
Through my work, I hope to bring a sense of wonder and richness to everyday life—moments of joy that grow like seeds in the heart.
Materials
素材について
コラージュの素材になる植物を育てて、押し花やドライフラワーにしています。
インスピレーションを掻き立てる自然素材を見つけると、収集して大切に保管し、作品に活かして行きます。
I nurture the plants that become the heart of my collages, pressing and drying their delicate forms. Whenever I find natural materials that spark inspiration, I gently collect and keep them for future creations.
1. 栽培 – Cultivation
作品に使う花や植物を育てています。園芸種から山野草、そして雑草と呼ばれる草花まで、さまざまな植物が素材になります。
樹皮や茎も素材として活かすことができます。
I grow flowers and plants that become materials for my works.From cultivated garden species to wildflowers and even plants often called weeds, many kinds of vegetation are used as materials.
Bark and stems can also be incorporated into the work.
2. 採集 – Collection
春、花々が次々と咲き始める頃には、開いた花やツボミ、柔らかいツルなどを少しずつ採集します。
秋には、野山で紅葉した落ち葉を拾うのも楽しみのひとつです。
In spring, when flowers begin to bloom one after another,
I gently collect blossoms, buds, and tender vines little by little.
In autumn, I enjoy gathering colorful fallen leaves in the fields and mountains.
3. プレス – Pressing
採集した植物を紙に挟み、適度な重みをかけて乾燥させます。
水分が早く抜けるほど美しく仕上がるため、湿った紙はこまめに取り替えます。
The collected plants are placed between sheets of paper and dried under gentle pressure.
The faster the moisture is removed, the more beautiful the result—so I frequently replace any damp paper.
4. 素材選び – Material Selection
でき上がったたくさんの押し花の中から、作品に使う素材を選びます。素材の形や色からイメージを膨らませ、花合わせをしていきます。
From the many pressed flowers I’ve made,
I select materials that inspire each piece.
By exploring different combinations of color and form, new images and stories begin to emerge.
5. 作品制作 – Creation
自然素材はとてもデリケートなので、湿度や保管に注意しながら丁寧に扱います。変色やひび割れ、破れやすい素材は下処理を施し、材質に合わせて染色や着色を重ねながら作品を完成させていきます。
Because natural materials are delicate, I handle them carefully while paying close attention to humidity and storage. Materials prone to discoloration, cracking, or tearing are pretreated, then gently dyed or colored to suit their texture as the work takes shape.
サイズやデザインによりますが、制作期間は3ヶ月、長いもので1年かかる事もあります。制作のご依頼は、完成までに長期の余裕を持ってご注文いただいております。
The production period depends on the size and design, but it can take up to a month at the earliest, and in some cases it can take up to a year. If you have a production request, please order with plenty of time until completion.
